Meet "Supermodel" Sam Sarpong

Sam Sarpong at the 466/64 press conference

I was approached by a friend from LA who introduced me to the name Sam Sarpong just last week.

The name didn't sound familiar, but as I did my little research, I found out this man had walked down the runway for some of my favorite designers and of course so much more.

Being a part of the industry for more than a decade now, he has been the face of many brands such as Levi's and Tommy Hilfiger (For 6 years) to Louis Vuitton and walked for fashion houses such as Versace, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss and many more. I'm sure his resume by far can get him any job within the world of fashion and modeling. (Don't you want that? Jeeeezzz, jealous, lol)

In 2010 he was named Men's Fashion Magazine Top 10 Male Models in the World. That is a hugeeeeeeeee deal. I personally know many male models, rookies and professionals, who would love to make it to that list.

Not only does Mr. Sarpong model, he also is an actor and a host (MTV, BET, etc..). The amount of movies this man did ... hollllyyyyyyyy, I can go on for days, but I'll keep this post fashion friendly. Lol

Recently, Mr. Sarpong teamed up with 466/64, a clothing line by Nelson Mandela, to be an official brand supporter of the line. A relationship that seemed to inspire both Sarpong and his following, he notes it as one of his biggest accomplishments.

A Supermodel, an actor, a television host, and many other talents that he carries under his name. Mr. Sarpong definitely is a role model for young gentleman around the world. It's not so often we come across a star that is so humble and kind. He is a true talented gentleman.

Check out these pictures of Mr. Sarpong wearing 466/64 for Revere Magazine...

And check out this little video that gives you a glipse of Mr. Sarpong...

Styled by Christopher Campbell. I love the whole black and white look, and lets not forget that killer Givenchy nose ring which stands out all by itself!!!

Maison Martin Margiela Spring/Summer 2013 Paris Fashion Week

After that devastating news a couple weeks ago about the collaboration with H&M, I was actually happy to see these creations coming from Renzo Rosso. This season MMM brought us many bright-white pieces that were of course accented with silver metallics. Most garments were kept pretty simple and some had that extra WOWW factor with touches of printed patches! Simplicity was key and was paired with some intricate details. I loved it! Overall, great collection!

MY TOP LIKES FROM MILAN MENSWEAR FASHION WEEK. SPRING/SUMMER 2013.

So another Menswear Fashion Week just finished in Milan, and once again, here I was in Toronto waiting to receive updates on my phone by a couple close friends and fans in Milan who were lucky enough to witness the runway shows and presentations front row. (So jealous, I could have been there too -__-)

Anyways ...  this week, we saw a lot of todays popular silhouettes that were obviously customized to perfection to make each collection stand out from one another. From bold prints to bold colours, to the simple neutrals, I honestly was impressed by pretty much all the collections. So definitely not complaining, but I must admit that most of the designers did play it really safe this year, and only took chances when it came to the fabric choice (colour, print, texture, etc...).

Here are a few pieces from my favorite collections displayed this season!

What do you guys think? Like? Dislike?
