So this year, the biggest night in fashion highlighted the works of two past and present Italian designers. Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. The Mets Spring 2012 Costume exhibition called "
Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" an exhibition which explores and features the works of these iconic fashion designers. The exhibition launched last night with The Met Gala ... and all your favorite celebrities from fashion to music were there to walk the red carpet and head inside to the exhibition. Luckily for us regular people, this was the first time in history, The Met Gala red carpet was live streamed on Vogue.com. I sat in front of my computer for 2 straight hours and watched the stars walk the carpet. Sooo worth it. I noticed the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The Queen of Fashion, hahh, Anna Wintour stepped into the red carpet wearing a Prada dress with a gold lobster on it to pay homage to the late Elsa Schiaparelli. Only Ms. Wintour can make this work. Only her. :)
